Guest guest
THE SLAVE HUSBAND NO! This is not a write up on plight of husbands. Why this question suddenly? Does Sri AnDAL mention that Lord torments the slave husband? why so? The combined words of NAchiyAr tiurmozhi pAsuram sometimes leads to this absurd meaning. anRulagam aLandhAnai vugandhu adimakkaNavan vali seyya அனà¯à®±à¯ உலகமளநà¯à®¤à®¾à®©à¯ˆ உகநà¯à®¤à¯ அடிமைகà¯à®•à®£à®µà®©à¯ வà¯à®²à®¿ செயà¯à®¯ -NAchiyAr Tirumozhi 5-10 Sri ANDaL actually laments that She is not getting kainkaryap prApthi (adimai) Service and as the Lord Almighty dilly-dallies and torments (vali seyya, in this regard. The words are adimaikkaNavan vali seyya when this is split in a different manner it sounds as adimaik kaNavan vali seyya To represent the right meaning this shoud be chanted as adimai-k-kaN avan vali seyya adimai -Service-kainkaryam kaN-regading -vali seyya-dodging or dilly-dallying The Lord dilly dallies regarding the service to be granted to ANDAL. anRulagam aLandhAnai vugandhu adimak kaN avan vali seyya அனà¯à®±à¯ உலகமளநà¯à®¤à®¾à®©à¯ˆ உகநà¯à®¤à¯ அடிமைக௠கண௠அவன௠வà¯à®²à®¿ செயà¯à®¯ not adimaik kaNavan -அடிமைக௠கணவன௠(Same type can be seen in Sri PeriyAzVArs also -SrimAli kaNavan-Srimalikan avan) ( from discussions with Sri Tirucherai Naryanan svami and Sri T Madhavan svami) dasan vanamamalai padmanabhan
