We all know now Lord Venkatachalapathy Uppiliappan temple

being managed by HR & C ministry of Tamil Nadu. I would like to know

before Govt take over who was maintaining this great temple. This is more

than 2000 plus years old much before Tirupathi. Where can I get this

informations?

Normally such details can be taken from the epigraphica India - the

compilations available with epigraphy office.  For South, I think it is

available both at chennai and Mysore.

With warm regards
