Guest guest
THE SLEEPING BRAHMA rAvna, as we know had sought boon from BrahmA. When brahmA was sleeping, EmperumAn took the form of an infant and indicated to brahma by counting the ten heads of ravana.( Sri PBA svami points out that this event has been recorded only by Sri PEi AzVAr and Tirumazhisai Azvar and not in purANams or idihAsams) Actually, a doubt may arise, why should ravana approach while brahma was sleeping? It is again because of joining of certain letter combinations this happens. Aindha arumaRaiyon nAnmugathaOan nangu vuRangil yEaindha lkuzhaviyAi,....mUnRam tiruvandhAdi 77 ஆயà¯à®¨à¯à®¤ à®…à®°à¯à®®à¯à®±à¯ˆà®¯à¯‹à®©à¯ நானà¯à®®à¯à®•à®¤à¯à®¤à¯‹à®©à¯ நனà¯à®•à¯à®±à®™à¯à®•à®¿à®²à¯ à®à®¯à¯à®¨à¯à®¤ கà¯à®´à¯à®µà®¿à®¯à®¾à®¯à¯.... the words nangu vurangil -While in Good sleep. Actually this word should not be split like this but as Aindha ArumaRAiyOan nAnmugathOAn nan-kuRangil yEinha kuzaviyAi ஆயà¯à®¨à¯à®¤ à®…à®°à¯à®®à¯à®±à¯ˆà®¯à¯‹à®©à¯ நானà¯à®®à¯à®•à®¤à¯à®¤à¯‹à®©à¯ நனà¯-கà¯à®±à®™à¯à®•à®¿à®²à¯ à®à®¯à¯à®¨à¯à®¤ கà¯à®´à¯à®µà®¿à®¯à®¾à®¯à¯-மூனà¯à®±à®¾à®®à¯ திரà¯à®µà®¨à¯à®¤à®¾à®¤à®¿ -77 kuRangu is lap. The Lord took the form of an infant on the lap of Brahma when ravanan had approached for a boon. So when we chant we chant like nan kuRangil dasan vanamamalai padmanabhan
