Guest guest
Swami Sri. A.S. Narasimhan devoted his life to Acharya kainkaryam. He and his dharma pathni had stayed and served for years at various locations of their acharyan thirumaligai - Sri Mudaliyandan Swami. He was instrumental in renovating the Thiruputkuzhi temple. He took so much efforts to make this divyadesam so wonderful and divine and also get the most beautiful Vasantha Mandapam. After accomplishing this kainkaryam, Swami, with all his ailments, started the work to get the nearby Musaravakkam temple renovated. Swami began his efforts towards renovation of this temple in June 2008 and reached out to all SriVaishnavas who belonged to this village to participate in this kainkaryam. With the grace of Swami Emperumanaar, the samprokshanam of Musaravakkam temple with Sri Bhoomi Neela Devi and Sri AadiKesava Perumal was held on March 15th 2009 - in just about 10 months!. Swami Sri A.S.Narasimhan reached Acharyan Thiruvadi on Wednesday March 25th. Swami was able to participate in the Balalayam Kainkaryam of Musaravakkam temple in early February 2009. We can see him on that occasion, in the first photo in this link: http://www.pbase.com/svami/balalayam2009 Later due to deteriorating health condition, he became compeltely bed ridden, yet was continuously calling 'Raghava Raghava' - Thiruputkuzhi Sri VijayaRaghavaPerumal Thiru naamam. He was requesting all Bhagavathas paying him a visit to certainly join in the samprokshanam of Musaravakkam temple. He lived in Triplicane near the temple. He was not able to go to the samprokshanam of Adhi Kesava Perumal temple of Musaravakkam for which he had been taking so much efforts, as he was bed-ridden due to critical illness. He was so happy to hear from other bhakthas about the successful samprokshanam, how so many people had flocked to the temple that day, how they are enthusiastically competing to conduct the monthly kainkaryams for that temple, and so on. http://www.pbase.com/svami/balalayam2009 (First photo) He was a great example of a Srivaishnavar. He must be remembered by all of us for ever.
