(TVM4.10.7) Azhwar explains the sorry state of the souls that have been worshipping other devatas over the multiple lifecycles in the world of samsara. Azhwar clearly shares the message that such souls have never been able to get relieved from the samsara cycle, although they have been able to achieve some phalams. The phalams are much lower to getting relieved from the samsara cycle. Continuing on the above message, Azhwar points to the fact that all the devatas that the souls worship are actually lined up in Thirukkurugoor, worshipping Adhinathan. He is the one and only devata who can cut the samsara cycle. Azhwar advises the souls in samsara to realize that all are subservieint to Adhninathan in Thirukkurugoor, and hence surrending to Him will get us relieved of samsara cycle. Azhwar continues to stress more on the supremacy of Adhinathan in Thirukkurugoor in the next pasuram. Let us get on with Azhwar from next posting………. mikka aadhippiraan niRka……… adiyen ramanan
