Azhwar describes the supremacy of Adhinathan by referring to the fact that all the devatas and the worlds form parts of His divine body. Hence, He advises the souls to worship Him. To convice the souls in samsara, Azhwar describes the consequences of worshipping other devatas. If the souls in samsara fail to recognize that Adhinathan is the Supreme Being, they will not be able to attain freedom from samsara cycle. Other devatas are not capable of granting Moksha. On the other hand, if the souls worshipping other devatas start to realize the supremacy of Narayanan, they will start to gain more maturity in knowledge; hence graduating to worship Narayanan. Azhwar also refers to the fact that Narayanan is residing in Thirukkurugoor as Adhinathan. He also refers to beautiful fertile fields in Thirukkurugoor. He requests all the souls to perform service at Adhinathan’s feet. In the process of advising the souls in samsara, Azhwar warns them that Adhinathan is no less than anyone by any means. He was the one who danced in victory after measuring all the worlds in front of mahabali. Though He was smaller in form, His act was very big.

Azhwar gets to the final mile in the journey across Vazhuthinadu before entering the sanctorum and getting settled in His original place.

Let us complete the journey with Vazhthinadan in the next posting...
