The release had been delayed due to the mounting work on new projects (gurukulam and acharyah school) and a corresponding non-increase in volunteers to cater to the increased work. We deeply regret the delay. This year's diary looks grand. Many areas have been reworked and redesigned. The rare photo of SriKooratazhwan and Parasara Bhattar on the front (taken on Bhattars thirunakshtram) adds lustre and grace to it. The diary looks slim. Ironically, the information provided this year is more than any of the previous years!! The diary is loaded with useful and practical information on Srivaishnava sampradyam. Some of the features include : Life history of SriKooratazhwan in pictorial form (comic style) for quick recollection of his great life. This would also kindle interest in children.List of important utsavams at Srirangam and other divya-desams. The tamil date, corresponding english date and the day of the utsavam is included. The Thirunakshatram of all our azhwars & acharyas. The tamil date, corresponding english date and the day of the Thirunakshatram is included.Info. on the minimum knowledge a SriVaishnavaite needs to possess The daily chores (anushtanam) of SriVaishnava women. Detailed info on theettu to be followed on birth or death of a relative. The diary has been priced at Rs.40. We request each of you to purchase a diary for yourself and a bunch of diaries for your relatives and friends. Remember, purchasing a diary will contribute to a day's milk for a Gurukulam child.
