The twin Divya Desam

(இரடà¯à®Ÿà¯ˆà®¤à¯ திரà¯à®ªà¯à®ªà®¤à®¿)

The eternal attachment and the unsustainablility of wordly relationships

The wordly relationship is temporary but the eternal nexus with EmperumAn is permanent. Despite deterrence from thAyar and thOzhi who had inadvertently brought parAnkusa nayaki towards tholaivilli mangaLam, the telling attraction towards this eternal bondage is underlined by this twin divya desam-s.

AzvAr-s emotional attachment is at its height here. Even the trees are struck with pity and compassion and empathise with AzvAr (marangaLum irangum vagai maNi vaNNavOA enRu kUvum mAl-மரஙà¯à®•à®³à¯à®®à¯ இரஙà¯à®•à¯à®®à¯ வகை மணிவணà¯à®£à®µà¯‹! எனà¯à®±à¯ கூவà¯à®®à®¾à®²à¯). Perhaps, the only other thing which had such mesmerising effect on the trees were the sweet divine music from the bamboo of Sri krshNAs lips (marangaL vEzhum-madhu thAraikaL pAyum)

What can be the reason for such a grace from the Lord on AzvAr? Is it because of AzvArs good deeds (munnam nOATRa vidhikaLoA?-à®®à¯à®©à¯à®©à®®à¯ நோறà¯à®± விதிகளோ!)

NO. It is the causeless mercy of EmperumAn (mugilvaNNan mAyankaளà¯-à®®à¯à®•à®¿à®²à¯à®µà®£à¯à®£à®©à¯ மாயஙà¯à®•à®³à¯‹!)

Thus underlines Sri Azhagiya maNavALap perumAL nAyanar

These divya desams are closer to Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu district.

If you get to Tirunelveli, you can book a taxi. With this, you can visit all the NavaThirupathis in one stretch. adiyen does not know the local address. The cab/travels people operate cabs for NavaThirupathi trips. You can book a room in the hotel, and request hotel reception to arrange for a taxi.
