Srimaan Trust Offers Help in a Timely Fashion!

South Renga Middle School is one of the schools adopted by our Trust for conducting spiritual classes every Thursday. There was a request from the school to provide some mats to be used for their new teaching method called ABL. Srimaan Trust immediately arranged the mats and notebooks to to be distributed by a VIP, Sri. Thyagarajan, Chairman, Board of Trust, Sri Renganthaswamy Temple. A function was arranged on 30.07.09 at the School hall and Sri Parasara Azhagiasinga Bhattar Swami and the CBT handed over the materials to the School.

The climax of this event occurred when Sri Thyagarajan spontaneously offered further assistance to the school. Attracted by the service of the Trust, and knowing the needs of the school, Sri. Thyagarajan was impressed and donated a generous amount of Rs.1000/- on the spot. The Head Mistress of the school received it with much gratitude and happiness. The Head Mistress also thanked the Trust for introducing Sri Thyagarajan and enabling his generosity. All the children assembled shouted “Thanks” with joy! The happiness seen on their faces makes one feel happy – to be helpful in a time of need!

Aranganayaki Primary School also wanted a stock of 30 mats for their students of ABL class and notebooks also. Our Trust provided the materials they requested. The materials were distributed during a special function on 31.07.09. Sri. Mohan, a benevolent businessman participated as the chief guest and handed over the materials to the school.

The purpose of inviting prominent people to functions held by the Trust is simply to introduce them to our service to the society. This would enable the local schools to get attention from more broadminded and altruistic people. May Emberumaanar help us to strengthen the Darshanam in turning the attention of kind-hearted people towards those in need!
