Sri:

Srimathe Ramanujaya nama:

Priya Arangan adiyars,

May our Namperumal and Naachiyar shower their divine graces on you always.

Children of SRIMAAN BHATTAR GURUKULAM were blessed by the auspicious visit of Sri. U.Ve. Sri Rama Sharma Arayar Swamy who is bestowed with Arayar  kainkaryam at the temple of Thirunarayanan at Thirunarayanapuram (Melkottai), immediately after completion of  Gayatri homam at Gurukulam.

Swamy is a profound Ubhaya Vedanta Vidwan, Chatussastra vidwan, an adhikari in Divya Prabandams, Rahasyas, and Dharmashastras.  He is a Gnyana Sindhu, a great ocean of knowledge harbouring Vedas, Vedantas, Upanishads, Ithihaasas, Puranas, Arulicheyal and other Granthas.  He has not only mastered our sampradayam but also has immense knowledge on all other philosophies like Advaitham, Dwaitham, Bouddham, Jainism, etc.  He spent half a day in our Gurukulam and enlightened the children with the Quintessence of our sampradayam.  Children sat around him and lost themselves in his excellent speech.  His amrutha bhaashanam was filled with Gnyanam, Daya, Haasyam, Soulabhyam and Bhakthi, and inspired all our children.  Children competed with each other for the rare opportunity to take Swamy's sripadateertham.  Every child was given a chance and enjoyed it.  Swamy was very much pleased with the attitude, dedication and enthusiasm of the children.  He partook the  Bhagawad Prasadam which was religiously prepared in the Gurukulam and explained to the children the anushtanas that are to be followed while taking the Bhagavad Prasadam.  Swamy also explained to them his own  experience in mastering & learning the various sacred texts.  He said he learnt Amarakosha at the age of four and mastered Astadyayi at the age of seven and so on and so forth.  Even with this splendid and impeccable knowledge, Swamy was so humble and his every gesture proved the famous proverb “Vidya dadaati vinayam”(Education gives humility).  Children could not bear the pain of separation from Swamy.  They were consoled by being told that they will be taken for a 3 day camp to Arayar swamy's place.  Finally, Swamy's visit to our Gurukulam was a glorious event and was celebrated as a Festival.  This was a Festival on Gayatri japam day to purify our souls through Sripadateertam of a mahaan.  Vidwat vandanam was offered to Swamy.
