Rahasya Chatustaya Grantha Kalakshepam Satrumurai was done by Sri. U. Ve. Dr. M.A. Venkatakrishnan Swamy at Sri Parthasarathy Temple, Thiruvallikeni on 22nd August.

The

kalakshepams, which started in the year 1997, was being held on

Saturdays and Sundays every week. Parthasarathy permual was kind enough

to hear the entire kalakshepams done by our swami which was done in his

sannidhi itself for such a long period. It was a grantha kalakshepam on

Manavala mamunigals Vyakyanam on the Rahasya Granthams. It started with,Srivachana Bhooshanam

MumukshupadiTatvatrayam (all works of Pillailokacharyar)

Acharya Hrudayam (Azhagiya Manavala perumal

nayanar)4 Jeeyar swamis had come to grace the occasion -

Vanamamalai Kaliyan Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy, Vanamamalai

Thirumalai Thirupathi Periya Koil Kelvi Appan jeeyar Swamy, Thirumalai-Thirupathi

Sriperumbudur Appan Parakala Jeeyar Swaamy, SriperumbudurSriperumbudur Govinda Ethiraja Jeeyar Swami, Sriperumbudur.

Around

400-500 bhagavathas gathered in the temple for the occasion, making

the Front mandapam (Thiruvaimozhi Mandapam) jam packed for the 3 hours.

Indeed it was a rare sight having dharshan of 4 jeeyar swamis at one

place that too Parthasarathy thiruvadi vaaram.The jeeyar swamis

talked for around 30 mins each, about the greatness of the Rahasya

Granthams, the Unmatchable  Vyakyanam written by Swami Manavala Mamunigal, and then showered their mangalasasanams to the kalakshepaadhikari and  the kalakshepaGhosti.

After

the Mangalasasanams, MAV Swami explained the last Churnikai (Sutram) of Aacharya Hrudayam which talks about Moksha  palam as the Prayojanam of

Thiruvaimozhi and concluded the kalakshepams. After that swami talked

about the greatness of  the Unmatched Acharya Swami Manavala Mamunigal,

without whose vyakayanams all the texts would have been very difficult

for us to understand. After that, Swami talked a few words about Sri. U. Ve.

Kanchi Pradivadi Bhayankaram Annangaracharyar Swami, his

kalakshepaacharyan,  who simplified Mamunigals Vyakayanam even more and

in a simpler tamil for people like us to read and understand. Finally, the Deputy Commissioner of the Temple,

Presented the Vote of thanks. And the Kainkarayaparas of Parthasarathy

temple honoured the Jeeyar swamis and the  kalakshepaAdhikaari with

Prasadams of Sri Parthasarathy Perumal.During the Function, A

small pocket size book was released which contains all the 4 Rahasya

Granthas(text only) and a CD which contains the 4 rahsaya grantha

anusanthanam by Sri U. Ve. Dr. M. A.

Venkatakrishnan Swamy. The Rahasya Book which is in  Tamil, Costs Rs.50

and the CD Costs Rs.100 are available in the GEETHACHARYAN office in

Triplicane, Chennai.
