Guest guest
Sri: Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha Priya Arangan Adiyar, The children of our school, Acharyah, had been to Kaattazhagiya Singaperumal Kovil as a part of their curriculum. Fortunately, the day (26.08.09) happened to be the auspicious day of Aavani Swathi. Our children worshipped Lord Narasimha with much enthusiasm. All of them sat in the prakaram singing bhajans on Lord Narayana. Our children enjoyed playing a game called Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha. We then came out and sat under shade of a tree and had the holy paanakam. Children took petals and flowers of a Gulmohar tree and everybody pointed the odd petal out. They collected sea shells from the sand and sorted them. All of them sat together and sang our rhymes. They all sat on a stone elephant and enjoyed their imaginary ride. They identified colours in the nearby trees with flowers, buds, leaves, etc. Our children experienced education in that divine atmosphere. The natural scenario enhanced their energy and enthusiasm. They were given nutritious sundal for refreshment. The happy and healthy day became a memorable one. Swami, It is always very interesting to read updates about your school children.Thank you very much for sharing. As a mother of two young children, I'm very interested in knowing how to play the game Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha. Please forgive me if it is a silly question. adiyEn Ramanuja dasi ramanuja , Srimaan Trust USA <srimaantrustusa wrote: > > Sri: > > Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha > Priya Arangan Adiyar, > The children of our school, Acharyah, had been to Kaattazhagiya Singaperumal > Kovil as a part of their curriculum.
