Guest guest
Srimathe ramanujaya Namaha Srimad Vara Vara munayE Namaha “Srivatsa chinha misrEbhyO nama ukthim matheemahE  Yatustraya trayee kantE yAnti mangala sUtrathAmâ€Â           Question (2): ‘Srinidhi’ this name is now so common among the Srivaishnava kids both male and female. Whom does this name actually refer to? Where has koorathAzhvan answered the same in his panchastavam?  The answer for the above question lies in Swamy KoorathAzhvan’s Srivaradaraja Stavam Sloka 2  “Srinidhim nidhimapAravarththinAm arthithArththa paridhAnadheekshitham  Sarvabhootha suhrutham dayAnidhim devarajamadhirAja mAsrayE† Srinidhim – Sriya:pathi; arththinAm – those who plead; aparAm – boundless; nidhim – wealth; arththitha artha paridhAnadheekshitham – one who has vowed to grant all that is asked for; sarva bhootha suhrutham – Well wisher of all jeevatmas; dayAnidhim adhirAjam – Ocean of compassion, master of all; devarajam – Devapiran (Master of the devas); AshrayE – I bow to His divine feet;  I fall and surrender to the divine feet of the divine consort of Goddess perundevi, one who blesses His devotees with boundless wealth and one who has vowed to grant all that one asks for, well wisher of all jeevas, one who pities the sad state of others, and who is also the master of even the so-called superior devas. So Srinidhi: refers to kAnchi Varadan/PErarulAlan/dEvAdhirAjan as per the words of swamy koorathAzhvan.  Question (3) for the next posting: What is punya (good deeds) and Papa (bad deeds) as per swamy koorathAzhvan?                                               Sri koorathAzhvan thiruvadigalE sharaNam Asmad gurubhyO namahaAdiyen ramanuja dAsan/dAseeVaradarajan/Sumithra P.S: For details on Sahasravarusha celebrations please visit www.kuresan.com or www.vedics.org
