Mamunigal itself in his work Upadesa Rathinamalai starts his description from the Mudhal Azhwars giving importance for the month of Aipassi and also our purvacharyas consider Aipassi as the first month. During this month as usual lot of srivaishnava activities the celebration of Swami Manavala Mamunigal Aipassi Moolam & the celebrations of Mudhal Azhwars & Swami Pillailokachariar Sattrumurai and again the celebration of Aipassi Thiruvadirai.
