Our sincere thanks to you for keeping us informed of Sri Koorathalwar Mahothsavam.

 

Most of us know the date is Thai Hastham.  However  if you could kindly provide an idea of the uthsavam dates and venue (Kooram, near Kanchipuram) guidance, it will be helpful.  Some of us may like to plan our leave days to be able to have the bhagyam of being at Kooram during the days. Also please advise if volunteer work can be offered.

6) Monthly upanyaasams (one or two per month) at various cities by several vidvaans.7) Media related, Photo & Video charges8) various functions to be organized during 1000th year utsavam9) Special praaadhams, Thadhiyaaraadhanai for 10 days festival

10) Grand utsavam - special pushpam, sandhanam, pattu vasthram, etc., for Azhwan- special pallakku & vaahana purappadu with yaanai, guthirai, band, vaadhyam, vaanavedikkai- special prasaadham for Azhwan and distribution to devotees throughout the day

- Additional divyaprabhanda ghosti, veda paarayana ghosti- upanyaasams everyday11) Others facilities like Transportation, water & Sanitary (getting mobile toilets) for public during festival times.

We have estimated a big amount to be spent for doing all of the above agenda.As all of us know, raising funds through the known people is the best way for such activities and hence this email to you....See what best kainkaryam you can do from your side; also see how you can forward to your known people and get some more.
