With the blessings of H H Sri Kaliyan Vanamamalai Ramanuja Jeer Swami, we

the shishyas of the Mutt are planning to revive the age old festival of

Theppa Utsavam (divine float festival) for Sri Vanamamalai Perumal on 14th

and 15th February 2010. The festival is being organized by Sri Varamangai

Nachiyar Bhaktha Sabha which has been conducting the annual Yennaikappu

festival every year for more than 25 years now. Similarly we would like to

have this Theppa Utsavam conducted henceforth every year. This year the

Theppa Utsavam occurs the 2 successive days after the Yennaikappu festival.

Hence we request all bhakthas to plan their trip to attend both these

festivals and get the blessings of Sri Vanamamalai Perumal.

 

The shishyas of the Mutt and devotees of Sri Vanamamalai Perumal have made

several contributions to various causes so far. We request all shishyas and

devotees of Sri Vanamamalai Perumal to contribute liberally for this

utsavam.

 

Attached you will find the details of this utsavam in english and tamil.

Please read through them to get to know about the utsavam, how to get

connected with the organisers and how to contribute to this utsavam.
