Vedantha (Veda and Divya Prabhandam) Paatashaala, Vanamamalai

Sriman Naarayanan out of his causeless mercy gave

Vedas to the world to enable everyone to get out of the clutches of samsaaram

and attain salvation. Sanathana Dharma (vedic religion) has been practiced all

over the Bharatha Desam since time immemorial. Azhwaars and Achaaryaas have tirelessly

spread the Sanathana Dharma which is non-different from Srivaishnava Sampradaayam. They were the

masters in both Jnaanam and Anushtaanam, which are both equally important for

one’s spirituality and progress towards salvation. For a long time, our ancestors, being the most intelligent,

were still strict in following the instructions as provided in Vedas. But in

this day and age, we can see the gradual decrease of both knowledge and the age

old practices everywhere, due to the change in our life styles.

In order to rejuvenate the great old sampradaayam,

we feel that, paatashaala style of teaching Divya prabhandams and Vedas has

proven to be the best method to impart this timeless knowledge to people. And,

the focus needs to be in DivyaDesams where there is very limited number of

individuals who are present and serving there. To start with, we are planning

to inaugurate a Paatsahala for teaching Divya Prabandham and Vedam, in Vaanamaamalai

(Nanguneri). This is the Divya Desam where “Swami Nammazhwar†performed his

first “Saranagathi†in Thiruvaimozhi – NOtra NOnbilEn (5.7) padhigam. Sri U.Ve.

Deivanayagan Swamy, who is well known for his activities through our

trust (Kaarimaran Kalai Kaappagam), who have released Audio cassettes and CDs

containing santhai murai for Divya Prabandhams and Vedas, will be co-ordinating

this Paatshala in Nanguneri

Salient Features of these Paatashaala:

This is a Stay-and-Learn

kind of Paatashaala in Vaanamaamalai, i.e. individuals who are interested

to learn Divya Prabandhams & Vedas should stay there in the Paatashaala.

Food and accommodation will be provided in the Paatashaala itself.This paatashaala

is open to individuals starting from age of 10. More priority will be

given for retired/aged people. All of the Divya

Prabandhams & other important portions from Vedas (what is used in

Kainkaryams regularly) will be taught within a period of 3 years (max).A nominal fee

of Rs. 2000 per month has been estimated per head for Food and

Accommodation. As an Inaugural offer, people joining this Paatshala of age

group below 30 years can learn for free of cost.For further
