The Thai(Tamil Month) festival was celebrated in Sarangapani Temple. On the Pongal day , the Tahi Ther(Car Festival) was celebrated . The next day was Kanu Festival. On that day, (ie, the next day of Pongal) the Kanu thirumanjanam ( Abisheham) and Kanu Pongal was conducted in this temple.
