Sri Vanamamalai Kaliyan Swamy initiated a young Sanskrit scholar as the 5th

Jeeyar of Palahaari Purushothama Ramanuja Jeeyar Mutt. The new jeeyar has been

named SRI SRI SRI Purushothama Ramanuja Jeeyar Swami. The pattabhishekham

celebrations will be held in a grand manner amidst srivaishnava, bhagavada

goshti at Srirangam on the 22nd of Feb 2010.

 

The young scholar aged around 25 (named Rameshwara shastri in his purvashram)

has come front boldly to take up this noble role position and looks very

promising.

 

We all know that it is indeed a great thing to take up a position of sanyasam

for such young people, though, we should also understand that this is the need

for the hour. One can imagine the kind of sacrifices such people have done to

dedicate themselves and contribute to the society.

 

It is indeed our duty to support such upcoming leaders of Sri Vaishnavam in all

possible ways we can.
