TIRUMALA on 23 Feb 2010 – travel experience by one day tour of APTDC from Chennai

Dear Bhaagavathaas,

TIRUMALA has always been unique and best pilgrimage cum work off place.

Lord Venkateswara here is visited by thousands of pilgrims every day.

Adiyen used to visit frequently during 1980s during PONGAL festival

season. In recent years the rush at sanctum, large waiting time, big

commercial activity, Adiyen’ s own age factor, Proximity to the place,

moving of place – Adiyen could not visit TIRUMALA frequently, except on

marriage or similar occasion.

But recently I came to know one service started by A P Tourism

Corporation, T nagar Chennai for people like me. The service starts at

4:30 Am and returns to Chennai at 21:30. The cost is also nominal Rs

1070 per head that includes Special darshan fee, transport by a.c bus,

guide service, breakfast and lunch. The waiting time is limited to a

couple of hours.

Adiyen and family had Bhaagyam of Lord’s SANNIDHI on 23 Feb 2010 by

this package tour. This was very comfortable and we had quick darshan

at about 12:30 Am. Inside the sanctum there was Lot of change compared

to my earlier visit. We had MAHA LAGHU darshan, just from place of

Garuda Perumal. A group of 25-30 persons were put into the space

between Garuda Perumal and Srivaru. All the place around was covered

with gold sheets and lighting. A just thought Sri Maha Lakshmi is

around there. We were allowed for 2-3 minutes wait before SANNIDHI. Now

all security staff was nice. Soon we are filled with feeling Lord has

His own ways of gracing His APAARA KARUNA on us. We wanted one more

glimpse, but we had to go making provision for other devotees.

ADIYEN DECIDED TO PUT UP WEB PAGES (Flowers) on TIRUMALA. ALL DEVOTEES

MAY GIVE NECESSARY INPUT STORIES, PICTURES, SONGS, SERENITY AND

SANCTITY. I do not know the time frame when Lord will allow me.

Soon we were downhill at ALARMEL MANGAI PURAM about 1 hour drive and 1

hour lunch break. By about 5 PM we could get AMMA darshan. The SANNIDHI

is Very peaceful and pleasant. Adiyen is filled with all divine

strengths. There was a surprise. Just when were about to leave main

sanctum, the swami close the gate, we were caught inside. AMMA was

being taken out for procession. We are just next to the UTSAVAR and it

was the divine mother’s way of assuring me that She is always with me

whenever I needed any kind of strength. ADIYEN is blessed, blessed and

blessed.

We were back in Chennai by 9:30 Pm and the trip was enjoyable. All

devotees can make use of this facility and spread the availability of

service by APTDC.
