The prize

distribution function for State Level SriRamayanam contest-III (2010) was held

for Madurai centre on 20.03.2010 at THAMBRASS Mandapam, S.S.Colony, Madurai.

The

function started with prayer at 5.00 p.m.  Sri A.R.Ramanathan, Correspondent of

Dolphin Public School, Madurai

was the Guest of Honour (chief guest). Sri Arangarajan, M.A., P.hd, retd.

Professor, Tamil department, Madurai

College and Sri

Jaganathan, president of THAMBRASS honoured the function with their speeches.

Sri

A.R.Ramanathan

made an impressive speech on the glories of SriRamaynam and the

benefits of learning it.  Sri

Parasara BadriNarayana Bhattar Swami, the Founder Trustee of Srimaan Trust

presented the highlights of SriRamayanam and the state level contest.  Sri

Arangarajan made a remarkable speech on Sri Koorathazhwan the Forefather

of Sri

Parasara Bhattar pedigree and Sri Parasara Badrinarayana Bhattar Swami and the

services and sacrifices rendered by the lineage to the world.  A

video

show covering the drama and dance on Sri Koorathazhwan’s Glories by the Srimaan

Bhattar Kuzham students at our Chennai Prize distribution function was featured.Sri Ramanathan distributed the

prizes for the children and praised their talents. Mementoes were awarded to

volunteers Srimaan trust and Schools which participated in the contest.  A

brochure on Sri Ramanavami and a book on Sri Koorathazhwan were released

by our

founder and presented copies to Sri Arangarajan Swami.  The function came to an end with the vote of thanks at 8.00 pm.-- -- ever-in-divine-service,KAINKARYA SREESrimaan Trust (Srimaan Bhattar Kuzham)
