Today(17-Jun-2007), adiye:n was fortunate enough to attend Sri Jeeyar Swamiji's

lecture on Isavasyopanishad in New Jersey for 6 hours. The lecture was very

sweet. Swamiji succinctly gave the meaning of each sloka in English with

examples. Sri Swamiji presented the meaning of 18 slokas including the meaning

of Sha:nti mantram. In that H.H. presented to the understanding of the audience

of various levels, quoting from Maha:bha:ratam, Srimad Ra:ma:yanam and Srimad

Bhagavt Geetha:. His chanting of the verses was so melodious. It was indeed a

retreat, not to be missed.

 

Adiyen could not attend H.H's earlier lectures in New Jersey due to adiyen's

poor health.
