Guest guest
Jai Srimannarayana! Aug. 15th. HH conveyed mangalasasanams to all on the eve of Andal Thirunakshathram and India’s 60th Independence Day. After the parayan, HH Jeeyar Swamiji spoke about today’s programe. Today being the auspicious thirunakshatram of Andal, HH performed the bhumi puja for the upcoming hostel for the veda students behind the veda vidyalaya in JIVA Shamshabad. HH has explained the first stage building plans of JIVA. It was wonderful. All of us know that a Ram Mandir is being built with three stories as the focal point of JIVA; Sriramachandra swami in the down stairs, above that the Lord he worshipped - Sri Ranganatha Perumal and on the top the mu:la thaththvam Srimannarayana blesses the devotees. Other plans being implemented are constructing a school building for the veda students, a hostel for them behind, other side buildings for the veda teachers, another side a building for a school with the Central syllabus, hostels for those students and houses for those teachers, and an auditorium in the centre with all facilities for the discourses, functions and congregations. Its an amazing plan and wonderful execution. HH also said the pratishta of the temple will coincide with the auspicious birth centenary of our Paramacharya Pujya Sri Sri Sri HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji and the final details are expected on the thirunakshatram day of HH Pedda Jeeyar Swami. After coming back from the ceremony HH addressed the thousands of devotees who came from long distances to have Swamiji’s darshan on this special day. He showered mangalasasanams to all the devotees present, with health, wealth and jna:nam. Some of the points of HH message: What is the true meaning of independence? What is the life force for our country? Dharma. Our heritage. Our culture. Whenever people are at freedom to pursue their own professions, enjoy the profits of their hard ship, are able to go ahead as our sampradaayam guides, with no outside interference, without fear and with full conviction – then we can say we are independent. Are we independent now? Kalidasa, the greatest Sanskrit poet and scholar once says the subjects in the Raghu vamsa kings’ regime enjoyed full independence. Where ever the people have freedom of faith, freedom of expression, right to follow what they want to without fear or contempt, when they are at their own will to give what they like, of course, parting with one sixths of their earning to the royal treasury – then the people are enjoying the fruits of freedom. We had the greatest of scholars in all the coveted fields, whose knowledge had no equals anywhere. Charaka could tell and show the seven layers of skin. They could tell the shape of the land on earth – now after a tedious study we realize its aptness. All our vedic treasures had been plundered and destroyed. Still the remaining fragments are a huge treasure. Every knowledge owes its source to our vedic literature. It takes seconds to destroy but takes centuries to build again. We Indians have an optimistic thinking and outlook. We look forward to see our nation on the top with all the brains and hard work and positive approach of our people. Let us pray to A:nda:l to bless us and recommend us to our Swami. Let us ask her to bless us to be able to surrender and serve the divine couple, along with all other people. Later HH spoke about Goda devi, her incessant love for the Lord, her yearning to join him, her promise to Sunderba:hu swami - she would cook lots of ‘akkaru vadisal’ and offer him along with her services. She attained Ranganatha and reached a place of reverence even to Rama Chandra. Swamiji extensively explained the inner meaning of that " pa:yasam " . How and where to visualize Lord? We should have the complete understanding of the mu:la thaththvam. We should tie him in our heart with a rope of incessant love and serve him and experience Him. This is what our A:ndal showed us.
