Guest guest
Jeeyar Thiruvadigale saranam! Jaisrimannarayana!! Today is Sravana purnima and Hayagriva Jayanti and Raksha bandhan. It was a grand celebration at JIVA. HH started the pravachan explaining the second sloka of Tridandi vimsathi. Naraayanacharya is equal to Chandra. Chandra gives pleasant light and nourishes the plant life. Acharya gives the light of jnana and grows the crop of bhakthi in us. He provides the food of jnaana to the jivas. He shows the bhagavath thathvam and sees that we appreciate it. The Lord has both anugraha and nigraha. So if we approach him directly the result is doubtful. But if we approach a:charya, we are sure to attain the fruit. It is like this. We can’t reach the destination directly. But if we join the person who can reach there easily, we are sure to reach there. While jna:na of Lord is like sunlight, the jnana of acharya is like the moonlight- of course it is the reflection of sunlight only. Thus acharya is compared to full moon. Sri:srinivasa refers to Lord Srirama whom Pedda swami worshipped. Valmiki refers to Rama as maanisha:da meaning Srinivasa (with whom Sri: dwells) All the beings worship lord Narayan only. He came down to us in many incarnations. If the mu:lathathvam is Narayan why do we worship Rama or Krishna or Narasimha? Who are they? They are the many incarnations of Narayan. They are like the harbours or ghats to enter the magnificent ocean of Lord’s divine attributes. We enter the sea or ocean through a harbour. Through which ever harbour may we enter the sea, we enjoy the flow of Lord’s auspicious gunas. We love and respect the entrance we use. Lord has come to us from vyu:ha, from there to vibhava, as antharyami and as archa. Once he became accessible to us and is so close, we need not think of other sources. Pedda Swamy had unlimited zeal and enthusiasm. He had wonderful strength of intention. Once he set into action on his plans, he never looked back whatever hurdles came in his way. All his programs were a grand success and still remembered by one and all. He performed 108 Srirama krathus from 1960 to 1969; in 1972 he performed Lakshmi Narayana krathuvu with 1008 kundaas. We see Rama krathu stambhas in every important prilgrimage centre including Badari and Mukthinath. He had great association with Thirumala. Once when the TTD wanted to close the pushkarini, he opposed the move citing its importance and greatness from Venkatachala maha:thmyam and other scriptures. We are fortunate to have the pushkarini now and it was due to HH Pedda jeeyar swami’s action. He was renowned as ‘sathya sankalpa’. Let us prostrate at his Lotus Feet and seek his mangalasasanams to make us action oriented... Jai srimannarayana! ______________________________\ ____ Moody friends. Drama queens. Your life?
