Guest guest
Jai Srimannarayana! 2nd part of Sept.3rd pravachan of HH Swamiji Lord strives hard to help the jivas get relieved of their karma bondage. They cannot get out of karma bondage themselves. Why does he do it? Surely, not for his sake! He cannot see us suffering. He has no anger on us. He cannot see us suffering. Whether we realize or not, he wants to rescue us from this mundane world. So the Lord created three places to experience our karma and exhaust it. They are this world we live in; the world of dreams and thirdly future births. Our good deeds fetch happiness and the bad actions result in grief. Both are unexpected. The bad or good dreams we get are not in our control either. We get them to have a good or bad experience. Good and pleasant dreams give us happiness in our sleep and thus exhaust our small punya karmas. Same way the bad and horror dreams leave a bad fearful experience on our mind and they exhaust very small bad karmas. They have been arranged for us to experience the result of our actions. Attachment to actions accumulates karma. Attachments means thinking that you are doing the things, for your sake and you are making them happen. If you are detached to your actions – realize in your conscience that the actions are done by Him, for His sake and the results are His – they won’t accumulate karma. The burden gets lighter and lighter as NO new karmas get attracted. Realize everything in this world is a reality. We dream all the while thinking we are undergoing pleasures or pain. But when does he realize that it is a dream? Only when he wakes up from his dream does he realize that he enjoyed or suffered in his dream. He himself has to realize this fact. So also, when can one claim that this world is NOT real? Whoever it is - he can judge this world is NOT real - only after coming out of this world which is not possible. So this claim is FALSE and untruthful. By making this false claim, he is cheating himself and others. Nothing in this world is unreal. Everything is ‘sathyam’. It means everything has some advantage or purpose. Everything that happens through buddhi, manas, indriyas or body is an action. Same way, dreams have some purpose because we think of them after waking up from the sleep. We know we saw a dream in our sleep. Whatever fulfils a purpose is regarded as sathyam (artha kriya: ka:rithvam). It is not ‘nithyam’ (eternal), but it is sathyam. To think it is not ‘nithyam’ is transient. Increase or decrease, growth or death is only changing of forms but not the creation of new matter. Soil is truth. Many forms come from it. All of them again get back to their original source – soil. Names change but matter never increases or decreases. It just changes its form. It is like the flow of water. We pour some water, its nature does not change. We pour some water, it does not make a heap. We cannot say this world is ‘anithyam’ or ‘asathyam’. Those who say this universe is ‘midhya’ we can assume their knowledge is ‘midhya’. This world and this dream world are a reality. This world is for collective experience and the dream world is for individual experience. Dreams are a reality. Jai srimannarayana!!
