Guest guest
TTD 'bhakti chaitanya yatra' takes off Golden hued chariots set off to three 'divine' destinations. Jai Sreemannarayana The colourful 'Chathuryuga bandham -bhakthi chaitanya yatra' took off on Thursday morning at Alipiri, the foot of Tirumala, led by a mixed congregation of seers and devotees. Three vehicles, specially-designed to look like golden chariots, are part of the spiritual sojourn to the divine destinations of Simhachalam (Visakhapatnam district) , Bhadrachalam (Khammam district) and Movva (Krishna district), where the presiding deities- Narasimha, Rama and Krishna respectively-in-carnations of Maha Vishnu reside. The TTD chose this method to explain the supremacy of Lord Vishnu in his various manifestations in Krutha yuga, Thretha yuga and Dwapara yuga respectively and Lord Venkateswara as the presiding deity of the present Kali Yuga.(Source :Hindu) Full details of the news can be found in http://www.omnamovenkatesaya.com/tirupati_Dailynews/TTD_bakthi_yatra.htm Satyanarayana Rao Vallabhaneni,RD
