Guest guest Posted February 7, 2008 Report Share Posted February 7, 2008 TIRUPATI: The gold plating of the ceiling of 'Bangaru Vakili' of Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala has been completed. The entire cost, about Rs 35 crore, was borne by a devotee from Chennai. The gold plating has beautiful carvings in sync with the temple architecture. According to sources, the devotee is also planning to gold plate all the walls, pillars, grills and doors of the 'Bangaru Vakili' with another Rs 10 crore.
