Guest guest
JAI SRIMANNARAYANA KRISHNA JYOTHIJI! YOU ARE RIGHT ! BHISHMACHARYA LEFT HIS BODY ON ASHTAMI DAY ONLY. SRI VISHNU SAHASRA NAMA STHOTHRAM ALSO REVEALED ON OR BEFORE THAT DAY ONLY. BUT THE ISSUE WAS KNOWN TO THE WORLD ON EKADASI DAY. PANDAVAS, PERFORMED ALL HIS FUNERAL AND FINAL RIGHTS THERE AFTER GETTING INITIATION FROM HIM, MIGHT HAVE TAKEN 2 OR 3 DAYS TO RETURN TO THEIR KINGDOM. THEN IT WAS DISCLOSED TO THE WORLD. AS THAT DAY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE EKADASI, IT WAS NAMED AFTER THAT GREAT WARRIOR. BY THE WAY, BHAGAVAD GITHA WAS SPOKEN ON THE FIRST DAY OF BHARATHA WAR. THAT WAS ON THE FIRST DAY OF MARGASIRSHA MONTH. BUT 11TH DAY IE E:KA:DASI, IS OBSERVED AS " GITA JAYANTHI'. DO YOU KNOW WHY? THAT IS ALSO WITH THE SAME REASON. FIND OUT. WE ARE HAPPY THAT YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING =chinnajeeyar= Jai SriManNarayana! Pujya Sri ChinnaJeeyar Swamivariki Aaneka namaskaaramulu. Swami, I've read somewhere that Bhishma died on Ashtami after RathaSaptami, not on Ekadsasi. Is it true? If it is, how can we say Bhishma Ekadasi is the Vishnu Sahasra Nama Jayanthi? As VishnusahasraNaamam was told by Bhishma, and if Bhishma died on Ashtami, Ekadasi can't be Vishnu Sahasra Nama Jayanthi. Can you please shed light on this topic!!! Swamivari paada padmamulaku Aaneka namaskaaramulato.... Krishnajyothi
