HH Sri Swamiji Visit to USA and Prapanna Deeksha initiation on July 12th, 2008

A gentle reminder to all bhagavad bandhus.

His Holiness Sri Swamiji will be visiting USA from 3rd July to 16th July, 2008.

New Jersey, Washington DC and Boston are the places lucky enough to receive His

Holiness. Please contact the respective centers for detailed visit schedule.

 

His Holiness will be initiating a noble and unique Prapanna Deeksha on 12th July

2008 in New Jersey.

 

Highlights of deeksha are given below

 

Ashta:kshari maha: manthra (Narayana manthra) japam, Sri Vishnu Sahasra Nama

Sthothra parayanam and learning the meaning of manthra / namas are the essence

of the Deeksha

 

Anyone who has taken Ashta:kshari Manthra upadesam from any acharya can

participate. Those who have taken upadesam for any manthra other than

Ashtakshari manthra can also participate and perform japam of the manthra they

have taken.

 

Starting 12th July 2008, manthra japam has to be performed everyday for one hour

in the morning

 

In the evening a mangala deepam has to be lighted and Sri Vishnu sahasra nama

sthothra parayanam has to be performed.

 

A small bhajan and learning the meanings of 2-3 namas per day can follow the

parayanam

 

Those who can learn ashta:kshari manthra artham can do it in the format

available to them Deeksha will be continued for approximately a year and

conclude with the birth centenary celebrations of HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji in

2009
