Guest guest
Jai SrimanNarayana! Srimad Bhagavatham Self-control is actually achieved not by artificially stopping the senses from material enjoyment, but by becoming factually attached to the Supreme Lord by engaging one's unalloyed senses in the transcendental service of the Lord. (abhya:sa). The senses cannot be forcibly curbed, but they can be given proper engagement and direction. Purified senses, therefore, are always engaged in the transcendental service of the Lord. The viceversa is also true. Once one surrenders to the divine lotus shaped feet of God, due to His causeless mercy on us we get purified. The later one is easier in the sense that there is no feeling of our self-effort as in the earlier methodology. The end result is the limitless and boundless service of God and everything including the senses become a true instrument of His. Jai SrimanNarayana!
