Guest guest
Jaisrimannarayana! Some things we learn today from HH's pravachan of Thirumanthrartham: 1. Who is a jnani? Generally, a person who possesses jnanam is a jnani. 2. Who is a real jnani? A real jnani is one who shares the true knowledge he possesses with others; one who practices what he preaches. 3. What do the acharyas do? They grasp the essence of scriptures and shower their knowledge to the needy and deserving as per their caliber and necessity - to be utilized by them as and when required like a cloud that absorbs water from the water bodies and rains all over the space to be used by one and all for different purposes. It never stores the water for its sake. So also a guru never keeps the knowledge he earned for himself. 4. What is samsaaram? Sam = as one Saaram = thinking Thinking that athma and this prakruthi (body) which are different are one and the same. 5. What is more powerful – the deed or the motive behind? Of course – the 'bhaavana or the feeling' is more powerful. 6. *HH mentioned a point that Pedda Jeeyar Swamy used to mention.* This life is like a loose knot with the two dangling ends. If we pull one, the knot gets opened. If the other one is pulled, the knot becomes tight. If our life is pulled towards the Lord, we get liberation. If we get pulled to ourselves, we get entangled.
