Guest guest
Sri:| Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha! Thiruppavai and Divyadesams - 2 Pasuram 2 - Vaiyaththu Let us take the phrase " pa:rkadalul paiyath thuyinra paraman " as key in this pasuram. Thiruppa:rkadal is known as " avatha:raka:nda " . The reference " e:sha na:ra:yana: sri:ma:n kshi:rarnava nike:thana: na:gaparyanka mutsrujyahi a:gatho: madhura:puri:m " is well known. Sri Krishna left Thirupparkadal and descended to Mathura. It is therefore that Andal says " pa:rkadalul paiyath thuyinra paraman adi pa:di " instead of " kanna pira:n adi pa:di " . Keeping Sri Krishna in mind, Periyazhvar too sang " aravaththu amaliyino:dum azhagiya pa:rkadalo:dum ... " . Thus, in this pasuram, Andal experiences the divyadesam of Thirupparkadal (the milky ocean).
