Guest guest
Sri:|Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama:ha! Jai Srimannarayana! Thiruppavai and Divyadesams -16 Pasuram: Nayaganay Divyadesam: Thirukkurungkudi In this pasuram, the key phrase is " thu:yo:ma:y vandho:m thuyil ezhap pa:duva:n va:ya:l munna munnam ma:rra:dhe: amma: " . " pa:duva:n " stands for nampa:duva:n. Nampaduvan sang about the Lord of Thirukkurungkudi divyadesam with a Veena in his hand. As he went to see the Lord one time, a brahmarakshas got hold of him and wanted to eat him. At that time, he told the brahmarakshas " va:ya:l munna munnam ma:rra:dhe: amma: " and asked it not to prevent him from completing his vratam. After he makes several vows, the brahmarakshas believes that he will indeed return and lets him go. He then goes to Thirukkurngkudi divyadesam, worships Him through " ne:sa nilaik kadhavam ni:kku " and returns. Thus the divyadesam of Thirukkurungkudi is experienced in this pasuram.
