Guest guest
Sri Raghunandana Parabrahmane Namaha! Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha! Viswamithra continued to Rama thus: Slokam:- nrusamsa manrusamsamva: praja:rakshana ka:rana:th| pa:thakamva: si:tho:shamva: karthavyam rakshatha: satha:| ra:jyabha:ra niyuktha:na:m e:sha dharmaha sana:thanaha| " The princes entrusted with the security of the kingdom will have to adopt measures even if they are stern or light; sinful or deplorable if those steps are required to accomplish the well being of the people. This is the righteous way recommended to the royalty. This Tataka's behaviour is not righteous. She is wicked. Killing her is no sin. Earlier Indra killed Virochana's daughter Mandhara when she tried to end this earth itself. Once upon a time, Sukra was doing penance in the presence of Rudra. The devathas started troubling the demons in the absence of Sukra. Then they sought refuge at the feet of Sukra's mother. She wanted to attack the devathas to protect the demons. Then Indra prayed to Lord Vishnu to save them. He killed her, cutting her head off. Thus many great kings earlier had killed the women that were cruel and a menace to all. Rama! you kill Thataka. " (25th sarga concluded.) Jai Srimannarayana! Ramanujamma M. rd.
