Guest guest
Jai Srimannarayana! Sudhaji, here is the answer to your question. The incident quoted in your mail had happened at the time when --- Vibhishana had just surrendered to Sri Rama and Sri Rama had lovingly accepted Vibhishana into his team. Even though he was from the enemy's family, he was accepted by Sri Rama's family just by surrendering to him. Vibhishana attributed the credit of this to 'Surrenderence' and thought it to be the best method available. When Sri Rama asked Vibhishana to suggest him some ways to cross the sea, Vibhishana suggested to Rama - " Surrender to it. " Vibhishana did not realize that the sea is not worthy of receiving Sri Rama's surrenderence. But because Vibhishana said this, Sri Rama followed. Sri Rama knew that surrendering to the sea is not correct and it didn't work out also. Hence, he later threatened the sea to make way for him and this worked! Jai Srimannarayana!
