Collecting Donations for VT Seva Led

by Swati Guttikonda.ama

Jai Srimannarayana!!

Our little friend Swati has initiated collecting money for VT Seva Organization.

She chose educating the poor and helping blind as the causes where the money

we'll collect will go to.

Why Swati?? I am sure there are other children who had the similar thoughts like

hers even earlier too. She wanted to donate her birth day toys or save her lunch

money and donate. I am sure for someone who is so young, such a thought is a

great start, but then she has to learn that she and others do not need to give

away all she has and cut down on her little interests.

THERE IS A WAY FOR THIS....

Let us all do our best to raise as much money as we could in the next couple of

months. I was very much impressed with the enthusiasm of all the kids at the

Prajna class yesterday. As soon as she informed them, a few kidsm immediately

donated to this cause. This is a team effort. It is a process so that we can

spread the word of VT Seva.

Parents, please visit the website

http://www.vtseva.com/ VT Seva

['V'olunteering 'T'ogether for 'Seva'], and help children understand the

importance of community service. Let us all put our hands together to help

whatever possible. This is our children's project and I request you all to lead

them in the good path. I want children to understand that they don't have to

give away all that they have, but by letting go of some little things would help

make this world a better place to live. Each child has a great potential of

their own and we need to help them grow with it.

I would like the children to understand and collect any money they could from

friends, families and neighbors. Every donation counts. No donation is small.

This will help children to be more outspoken, confident and concerned and

become a part of the great cause. If you think it helps children to carry a

Brochure with details, please let me know and I will e-mail you some details

that could be printed or you could print online as well.

Sampath Guttikonda and Ram Vemparala have both volunteered to match what we

collect. Thank you.

Jai Srimannarayana!!
