2. drushtva:thu pa:ndava:ni:kam vyu:dham duryodhana sthada: |

a:cha:rya mupasangamya ra:ja: vachana mabraveeth ||

 

 

(Kaurava King Duryodhana thought it a child's play to conquer the Pandavas. But

when he came to the war field he was stunned to see the Pandava army. It was

arranged in complicated formations difficult to penetrate into. Then he went to

his guru Dronacharya to inform him about this.)

 

Then king Duryodhana observing the army of pandavas arranged in different

formations, approached Dronacharya and told him thus.

 

 

3.pasyaitha:m pa:ndu puthra:na: ma:cha:rya mahathi:m chamu:m |

vyu:dha:m drupada putthre:na thava sishye:na dhi:matha: ||

 

 

(Dhrushtadyumna was the son of Drupada- king of Panchala. He was a brilliant

archer. He was the disciple of Dronacharya who was acharya for Pandavas and

Kauravas too. He was the chief crafts man who arranged Pandavas army thus.

Duryodhana was showing that army to his guru Dronacharya.) 

 

" Heh! Acharya! See the great army of Pandavas organized in patterns by your

intelligent disciple Dhrushtadyumna. "
