Making way in his busy schedule in India, HH Sri Sri Sri Srimannarayana

Ramanuja Chinnajeeyar Swamy visited the US to grace the devotees and conduct the

orientation course for Prajna teachers here. HH along with his parivaram arrived

in San Francisco airport from New Jersey at 2.30 am on 11th October as the

flight got delayed for more than 3 hrs due to a technical snag. Sriman

Vishnureddy and many ardent devotees heartily welcomed HH and his retinue

presenting lovely flowers and bouquets. Vamsi Mudumbai drove HH with the Sri

Rama parivaram to Mr. Sridhar’s house in San Jose. At that late hour too HH was

gracious enough to enquire all about their welfare and progress of the on-going

activities and it was 4 AM in the morning when he retired into his chambers.

Morning we had the theertha goshti and prasada goshti there. By 10am HH arrived

at the Krishna temple to initiate the Srimahalakshmi manthram and SriMahaLakshmi

ashtotthara Puja. More than five hundred devotees devotedly listened to HH with

rapt attention – ‘why we should pray to Mother Goddess?’ The universal mother’s

compassion and concern as explained by HH motivated one and all to surrender at

the divine lotus feet of Mother and take the manthra and participate in the

puja. Allthe sponsors got the Sri Srinivasa, Sri and Bhudevi’s idols from HH.

Others were given the dollars of the Goddess by HH. The packed hall reverberated

with Sri’s names and manthram. None moved from their places. Young and old

participated with utmost devotion and faith. HH advised all to continue this

deeksha even for a brief time everyday to be blessed with health and wealth. It

was 2.30 pm when the puja was concluded. All had prasadam in the premises. From

there HH drove to Miss Archana’s house to address the VTSeva Youth Meet. All the

VT Youth volunteers wished HH ‘Happy Tirunakshatram’ presenting a pack of home

made cookies. Swamiji was so happy for their gesture that he graciously

acknowledged their greetings and was so kind, he personally distributed the

cookies among the young participants. The kids’ happiness knew no bounds. Miss

Devaki explained the programs they are carrying on and they wish to implement

while Sukumar presented a power point presentation on their goals. Miss Deepthi

who is an active participant discussed VT seva with HH and took the necessary

guide lines. Next HH headed to Mr. Sridhar’s house to bless the Doctors Meet.

 

In the evening HH addressed the Hindi speaking audience in the Freemont temple.

All were mesmerized by the sweet Hindi pravachan of Swamiji. Later He blessed

some devotees by accepting ‘padapujas’ in their houses.

 

On Monday 12th October, finishing the teertha goshti, HH arrived in

Milpitas Srikrishna Mandir Auditorium to conduct the Orientation program for the

Prajna teachers of CA. Around 30 teachers attended the classes. It was amazing

to hear to HH. He enlightened the participants on - how great is our cultural

heritage and how much are we responsible to pass on this wealth to the younger

generation. Prajna Learning Centers aim at bringing out the inherent

capabilities of the youth, backed by the true values signified by vedic

scriptures and take the society forward on the path of bliss with a

peace-loving, help-all attitude. Our basic nature should be to help out the

needy in whichever way possible to the best of our abilities. Since our

scriptures are the mirrors of our culture, we learn about them and know some

verses that expound the sovereignty of the Lord Supreme. HH released the newly

composed Prajna Module One material.

 

In the evening HH arrived at Mr. Vamsi’s house in San Ramon. In the evening the

prajna kids under the guidance of Miss Sri Latha gave a wonderful performance

before HH. He felt very happy and gave them all mangalasasanams. Later on,

Swamiji addressed the Volunteers Meet of CA and gave them the necessary

directives. He focused on the fact that one should be able to work in a team and

it is very very important for everyone to train a couple more interested people

in the same sphere of activity so that the work goes on smoothly in an

uninterrupted manner. On 13th too the Prajna Teachers’ Orientation classes went

on very well on an enthusiastic note.

 

In the evening HH addressed the board meeting of the VT Seva on his way to

Cupertino. It continued for one hour. HH visited Sri Satyanarayana Swamy temple

and gave a discourse in Telugu and blessed them, contributing to the temple

construction fund.

On 14th of October, many devotees attended the teertha goshti and had the

prasad. By ten in the morning HH started for San Jose airport to board the plane

for Phoenix. Swamiji blessed us all present in the airport and we left the

airport with HH’s words still ringing in our ears and hearts filled with his

thoughts.

Let us all work together with renewed energy and carry on the light of

knowledge HH has shown us.
