Massive flood relief efforts are underway by VT Seva India on site under the direction and inspiration of HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. VT Seva Volunteers on the ground are working round the clock in helping the flood victims in all possible ways by distributing food packets, clothes, utensils and in attending to immediate needs. Free medical camps and free veterinary camps are also being conducted in the affected areas. As the immediate need was to provide basic facilities such as food, water, utensils, blankets and Shelter, VT Seva volunteers under the direction of HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji reached out to the worst affected regions of AP with " Flood Relief Kits. " Each kit contains a bucket, steel water pot, 4 steel plates, 4 steel tumblers, 4 serving spoons, 5 Kg. Rice, Pulses pack, tamarind pack, Salt, Oil packet, candles, matchboxes etc. Volunteers have already distributed thousands of flood relief kits as of now (~$46 each) in the districts affected by floods. VT Seva has also set up flood relief camps where victims are provided shelter and food irrespective of their caste, religion and any other form of discrimination. VT Seva also built *86 houses* in a colony (neighborhood) for the earthquake victims in Vallabhapur, Gujarat, India. *2001 Tsunami (Tamilnadu & AP)*<http://www.vtseva.com/Schools/TribalSchools/FishermenSchool.asp> *Built Fishermen school* at Katarivaripalem in Prakasam Dist of Andhra Pradesh on the coast of Bay of Bengal, which also serves as the cyclone relief center for the nearby villages. There are *108 students *studying different classes and free food and study material are provided for these school children. A colony (neighborhood) of *50 houses* was built in the coastal areas of Pumpuhar in Tamilnadu, a village that was severely damaged by Tsunami.
