(HH's message in English continued) Thus elders decided on oil bath, listening to panchangam and eating neem flower chutney on the yugadi day. Previous year passed off with the name 'Virodhi'. This year it is entering with 'Vikruthi' form. Last year though the set goals could not be achieved, Time did not give us much loss. In the same manner let this 'Vikruthi' too not give us much turmoil (vikruthi) and save us! Though we did not wish thus, we had to travel more than usual to foreign countries. We had been to US twice. We had gone to Africa, Australia and Europe on a brief visit. Of course, we could meet our people there. We participated in the " World Parliament of Religions " in Australia on 8th and 9th of December and shared our views with the other religious leaders there. The Five day Orientation Programme there went on very well. In Malaysia and Singapore we could feel the interest of Telugu people there. We observed that though they had gone there 4 or 5 generations back, they still are very much concerned about protecting their mother tongue and culture. In Europe, we observed the zeal in the youth there. Our goal is not of earning but to go forward encouraging fellow beings who want to get closer to our culture. In that regard it was surely helpful.
