Thanksgiving speech during the award receiving ceremony

adiyEn waited after dialling in and could hear only

music and music for almost two hours at 12 am

Singapore time (monday morning. It is only adiyEn's

dhurbhaagyam I could not hear the bhAgawatha goshti's

recitation. For a minute, adiyEn could hear Sri

Muralidhar voice and was cut off again.

 

adiyEn reproduces here what I was planning to

babble..:-)

Pl forgive me for anything uttered wrong... all that

is good is Acharya's limitless krupai...

 

adiyEn’s ananthaKOti praNamams to each one of this

glorious BhAgawatha goshti.

 

“Thanks” is too small a word to express my gratitude

for your abhimaanam towards your humble servant. It is

Bhagavath, Acharya and Bhaagawatha prasaadham for me…

and it is bhAgawatha sEsham also – that which is

accepted by stalwarts Sri Anbil Swami, Sri Satakopan

Swami, Sri Krishnamachari Swami, Sri Venkat Kanumalla

swami, and Sri Muralidhar Swami… … dhanyOsmi.

 

I am trying to see any valid reason for myself in

getting recognized for this title. I found two

reasons:

 

1. Nammazhwar says: in Thiruvaymozhi .

 

nalkuravum selvum* narakum suvarkkamumaay*

velpagaiyum natpum* vidamum amuthamumaay*

palvagaiyum parandha* perumaan ennai aaLvaanai*

selvam malgu_kudi* thiru viNNagar kandEnE

 

The Lord is so wonderful that he exists as the

[antharyaami] indweller in all that are opposite and

are contradictory. It is called as aghadhitha ghatana

shakthi. It is Divya Damapthi’s aghaditha ghathana

shakthi that they have combined Swamins like Dr Venkat

Kanumalla and Dr Muralidhar Ranagaswami with adiyEn…

seelamillaaaaaaaaa siRiyOn. The two opposites getting

recognized. In fact myself is enough to nagate the all

those who received these titles so far and would get

in future even. Ahamasmi aparaadha chakravarti.

 

adiyEn has to go a l………..o………n….g way.

 

2. The second reason: adiyEn is completely aware of

the fact that you are conferring this title more out

of tremendous abhimaanam towards adiyEn and more so to

encourage and motivate others to participate, attempt

and contribute…Because, now anyone can think: if this

guy, Madhavakkannan can do, why not me? In which way

he is better? Then, any one will get motivated and

contribute. Haha… Then Ramanuja’s mission

accomplished. Mission impossible (for avatharams and

azhwars) have become plausible now.

 

adiyEn is blessed with great parents, grand parentage,

wonderful acharyasaarvabhouman, most merciful Guru

paramparau and above all such loving and caring

bhAgawatha gOshti

 

adiyEn accepts all that is said here was because it is

all due to the grace of asmadhAchaaryan and all the

eulogies really belong to His Holiness and not to me.

It is in the spriti of vaLarththanaal peyar peRREn;

 

“Anything good and correct in my rambling is all due

to the credit of asmad Achaaryan’s grace.

 

Azhaiyaadha aruLaazhi perumAL seyyum anthamillaa

udhavi yellaam aLapaaar aarE?

Who can measure all the upakaarams (help) done by our

Most merciful PeraruLALan Sriman Narayanan?
