Dear Sri RR, It is really sad that you have to opt out as Chairman of National Committee, due to extreme personal and family reasons. But all of sishyas of Ashramam will definitely miss a very much dedicated and go-getter for Ashramam's needs and your own contribution to the growth exponentially of Srirangam Srimath Andavan Ashramam. I used to wonder how you managed to prepare in detail of Ashramam's report of various activities, which definitely needs a deep knowledge over the years of Ashramam's history and those associated with Ashramam very closely. Your statistical figures when told in

Ashramam premises after theertham on many days, were really amazing and can be made only by those in the profession of Corporate business. That type of correctness in figures can come only with your strong dedication to our Ashramam. Since, I am in service in TVS group, I am able to appreciate the mighty efforts which you have taken in the last few years. Every Ashramam devotee cannot forget the mighty organisational efforts ,with full cost figures, for the arrangements during Sapthathi as well as Centenary celebrations in our Ashramam at Srirangam. You also demonstrated to every one present on those occasions, how well the Centre Stage can be arranged and controlled on the occasions. Also there were many, who were very much indebted to your generosity in times of their

critical needs, including hospitalisation, very particularly in Sankara Nethyalaya Finally, since you have finally announced your decision, I will definitely miss your kind words and at the same time, with the blessings of our reverred Acharyan, I wish you all the success for all your thoughts expressed. inform you that adiyen has submitted his resignation as Chairman, NEC of the Asramam to HH Srimad Andavan on 04-10-2007. · Due to compelling personal & business reasons, it has become impossible to continue as the Chairman of the NEC of the Asramam. Adiyen needs to spend more time with the family during his twilight years. It is necessary for adiyen to concentrate more on the rapid & major expansion of the family business.· The duties of a Chairman are becoming more and more onerous. It was very tough & exciting in the initial period when the National Executive Committee was constituted in June 1999. But of late, it has been extremely difficult to balance the needs of the Asramam's activities and adiyen's business & family. · By the Grace of the Divya Dhampathis, the Poorvacharyas' Padukas & HH Srimad Andavan, all centres of the Asramam are functioning smoothly. There is no crisis anywhere excepting for

minor issues that will arise from time to time in administering a or any massive institution. This is in sharp contrast to the situation that existed in May/June 1999.· The successful resolution of all crisis level, major & minor problems since then, the construction of the new & expansion of the various existing Asramam Centres, the massive expansion of "Srimad Andavan Arts & Science College" at Srirangam/Thiruvanaikoil, the establishment of the 8 new "Srimath Andavan Veda Patasalas", the conduct of the Sapthathi & Centenary Celebrations etc., {to cite just a few examples} were & are solely due to the extra ordinary commitment, support and hard untiring Teamwork of all NEC members, Trustees and countless Sishyas & Abhimanis who have toiled hard over the past 8 years & more without any recognition. · Adiyen's greatest regret is that adiyen gets the lion's share of the credit for this great Team's achievements when

the Team Members have done 99.999999% of all the work!! It is one of the great mysteries of Sriman Narayana!! · Adiyen would like to record his deepest sense of gratitude; one lifetime would not be sufficient { & all his proud repertoire in English cannot help} to find appropriate words & phrases to express the grateful feelings in his heart for the overwhelming affection, regard, cooperation that has been his privilege to receive from one & all without exception. Warmest regards,Daasan RR___________________________
