Today being the first of 21 days we will be beginning with Periazhwars Pasurams @ 7:30PM

Trivia about today's pasurams: (most of you may know but.....)

1. Perizahwar covered 19 Divyadesams in his pasurams

2. ThirupallanDu - The begining and ending pasuram on a daily basis (most of pasurams are that of a doting mother, and gave us the father of all pasurams).

3. More than 50% of the generally accepted and widely recited "Nityanusandanam pasurams" are Periazhwar's - such as ThirupallanDu, neerATTam (during thirumanjanam), Poochootal (alankaram with flowers), kaapiDal(additional alankarams such as thirumaN kaapu) and Senniyongu.

4. Only azhwar (besides Andal-Nachiyar) to have pasurams named after his popular name Periazhwar (Periazhwar Thirumozhi)

Adiyen has a humble request - Please make sure most cars are parked in the street/cul-de-sac. The neighbors don't appreciate use of the pipe stem driveway for general parking. Except for a 4-5 cars in front of the house the rest can be on street.

Would be more than willing to park them for you realizing that a few yards may seem long when its winter.
