Lord Krishna at Udipi has a new chariot.   Kanaka Ratna Ratha , ( Diamond studded Ratha ) was  offered to Lord Krishna on 25 Dec 2009 ( Friday) .This built at cost of 7 crores and handed over to temple at a function in Udipi yesterday. The temple now have seven chariots. The other six are 1.Brahma ratha,500 years old. 2) Garuda ratha , 3) Indra Ratha ,4) Gold Ratha, 5) Silver ratha.. Some photos of Kanaka rathna ratha are attached.
