adiyEn visited many chOla nAttu divya desams around

Trichy, Kumbakonam and as well some pAndi nAttu divya dEsams.

adiyEn wanted to share some details about the nava thirupathi

around AzhwAr thiru nagari. adiyEn first went to thiru nel

vEli and using the AzhwAr thiru nagari as a hub visited all

the nava thirupathis (nine of the 108 divya desams). AzhwAr

thiru nagari temple is undergoing renovation in a very

massive scale. Sand blasting works are going and that throws

so much of sand all over the temple. The arcchagA in Sri namm

AzhwAr sannithi identified himself as the archAgAL of Sri

Ahobila muth in AzhwAr thiru nagari (by the way he is from

thennAcchArya sampradhAyam) and provided adiyEn a very close

up dharshan of Sri nAmmAzhwAr's divya mangaLa vigraham.

adiyEn also heard more accounts on this vigraham from an old

sAdhu, who helped me as a guide to tour all the divya dEsams.

There were many contradicting accounts for the 14th century

and as well as some additional information that were not part

of the AchArya gurupArampariyam were also provided to me. It

is the aideeham that Sri AdinAthan's holy feet is dugged

inside boomi there. adiyEn had a good darshan of thAyar

and Sri AdinAthan and proceeded to the tamarind tree.

 

Sri Lakshmanan (thrEtha yugam) (who is the incarnation of Sri

AdisEshan) became this " puLiya maRam " or tamarind tree that

hosted Sri nammAzhwAr in its lap. This tree originally had 7

branches and currently only 2 are there, alive. However three

more branches are coming out !! adiyEn sat under this tree

and did kaNNinun siRutthAmbu japam for a few minutes keeping

in mind first my AchAryAL Srimadh Azhagiya Singar and then

Sri nAtha muni, Sri madhura kavi, and Sri nammAzhwAr in the

lienage climbing up. Interstingly adiyEn was made to think at

that time of only one thing. Sri Amuthan !! who was at the

top of this lienage.

 

In thiru kudanthai, during the mahA samprOkshaNam there were

many upanyAsams that took place everyday in the live TV. In

his upanyAsam, One of the AsthANa sadas vidwan of Sri Ahobila

muth (*) rendered an interesting episode that took place

right under this tree.
