SrimatE Gopaladesika MahadesikAya Namaha,

Translation of Paaduka Sahasram by U.Ve. Sri V.N. Vedanta Desikan

Swamin:

Oh Keshava Paaduka! What a great fortune they possess, who have been

destined to do dear devoted service to You in this world! I wonder

whether

they have a third eye concealed or they have only one of the four faces

visible, the three others concealed (they being verily Siva and Brahma

in

their attainment)!

Note: The name Kesava, appropriate here, implies that Siva and Brahma

were born from the Lord)

Namo Narayana,

Adiyen,

SriMuralidhara Dasan
