SRIMATHEY SRI LAKSHMEENNRUSIMHA PARABRAHMANEY NAMAHAA Dear AAsthiKaas, I derive immense pleasure in making you all know that the THIRU NAKSHATHRAM of Ahobila Mutt 44th Pontiff Srimathey SriVan Satagopa Sri Vadhantha Desika Yathindhdra MahAA Desikan which falls on 12.09.99, (i.e) tomorrow (AAvani Hastham). He was the great person who erected Sri Rajagopuram in Srirangam fulfilling the desire expressed by Lord Ranganatha in his dream. SanyAAsis like them live in the world only for making this Jeevans know about the LORD SRIMANNAARAAYANAA.They take many pains in campaigning for Him.Even the life lived by them should have to be worshipped.Their Campaigning only allows us to know/realize God.The absolute true way shown by AAchryAAs like him makes the jeevaas like us to leave all frustrations ,false notions .,etc . Swaami Desikaa in his course of writing SriMadhrayasYaThriYaSaaRam's Essence in Tamil work called AdhikaaraSangraham says beautifully YEtri ManaThThezil Gnana VilaKKai IrulaNaiThum MaaTrinaVarkku Oru KaimmAAru Maayanum KAAnaKillaan, Potri Ugappadhum Pundhiyil KolvaDhum Pongu pugaz Saatri ValarPpadhum SatrallavO Munnam PetratharKey. (Rough Translation: Even The Lord, SriMann NaarAayanAA does not know how to thank /offer thanks to AAcharyaas like the one Mentioned above who(the AAcharyaas) lights the lamp in our minds to drive away the darkness of ignorance called Mayaa which covers all the Jeevans from realizing the Absoluteness of it,which is nothing but to reach Him ultimately. Even when you praise the AAcharyaa or always thinking of him and worshipping him or campaigning for Him (the AAchryaa) by praising him is nothing when compared with what you got from him.(The clear cut " SUPER HIGH WAY " to attain The Feets Of SriMan Naaraayanaa) Adiyen , (Vaasaka Dhoshahaa Kshanthavyahaa) Parthasarathy.S SriMathey SriVansataGopa SriVedhantha Desika Yatheendhra Mahaa DesikAAya Namahaa SriMathey Sri Lakshmeenrusimha Dhivya PaadhukaaSevaka SriVan SataGopa Sri NAaraayana Yatheendhra Mahaa desikAaya Namaha _________________ * * * FROM * * S.PARTHASARTATHY, EMAIL * * H 312 HALL 5, spartha * * I I T KANPUR - 208016, PHONES * * INDIA. Guest guest
Srimathe srivan shatagopa sri vedanta desika yatindra mahadesikaya namaha srimathe sri lakshmi nrisimha divya paduka sevaka srivan shatagopa sri narayana yatindra maha desikaya namaha Thanks for your reminder. Incidentally, adiyen had bharanyasam and samasrayanam under 44th jeer of ahobilamatam. Your views on acharya bhakti is very essential and is the only way for souls, who do not have any other go. Not many realize that we have very little control of our lives. adiyen remembers that our acharyas blessed me entry to " the society of surrendered souls " in tulasi tottam, a place in bangalore about 30 years ago; I had no idea at that time that 30 years later I will be writing this email from the south west corner of United States with very little day to day bhagavata sambandam or association of parents or siblings. Srimannarayana knows where we will be in future and what we will be doing. But, the reassurance that we have is that we have offered our souls to the holy feet of our acharyas ; We should remember the words of Sri Ramanujacharya wherever we are : " sharira yatra karmadhina atmayatra bhagavad adhina " - " our bodily experiences are governed by our karmas; the experiences of our atma are governed by Srimannarayana " . This means that once we have done what is needed for our protection, we should not be hindered by any of our experiences in this life; good or bad, sorrowful or filled with joy, we should think that, we are reaping the fruits of our karma which cannot be changed " even by srimannarayana " . My guru Dr. Anantha rangachar used to say - " one should think that whatever happens in one's life, that happens due to the desires of Lord and is not what we really want. Once we have understood this clearly that things dont happen exactly as we want, we will never have any sorrow, since we will understand that they are all Lord's will. Then we understand that we are instruments through which Lord carries out his will. This is our true character of seshatva. Hence we should not worry about these experiences in life and concentrate on the glories of our acharyas and lord and serve them for the rest of our lives as stated in " ozhuvil kalamellam " pasuram. adiyen Krishna Kalale
