Sow. Bhagyalakshmi murali has asked a valid question privately. Since the

answer is relevent for the whole group adiyen is posting her question and

answer to the net. This is without her permission. adiyen apologise if she

finds adiyen's decision to go public, is wrong.

adiyen's response:

 

 

 

Dear sow.Bhagyalakshmi,

 

adiyen did not ask for samasrayanam for my little daughter, since

traditionally

women undergo samasrayanam after their marriage from their husband's

acharya.

So adiyen has only requested for prapatti for my daughter.Please read

further for

an interesting episode that had happened on that day.

 

While performing prapatti for adiyen in ukti nishta, when srimad azhagiya

singer

has asked us to repeat the mantras adiyen's little daughter who was so

enthusiastic in performing prapatti promptly repeated the mantras with

accurate

pronounciation. This has brought a charming smile on HH's face and HE

complimented

her saying that " ivulO naana solRaLEda! pEsaama samasrayanam paNNi vachchu

innoru naL bharanyasam paNNidalaamaa? (meaning: How nicely she is repeating

the mantras with correct swara! Can we do samasrayanam and perform prapatti

another day).This has brought tears in adiyen's eyes and adiyen feebly told

HIM that

adiyen thought it will be inappropriate to ask for samasrayanam for her and

that is

the reason for not requesting for it

 

Srimad azhagiya singer smiled and took time to explain this point to this

ignorant

person. HH told " ukthi nishtele prapatti paNNikoLLa samasrayanam

kanya poNNukuum paNNi vaikkalaam doshamille "

(meaning: To perform prapatti in ukthi nishta no harm in performing

Samasrayanam

even for unmarried women).HH again complemented adiyen daughter's

enthusiasam

and her involvement. adiyen did not want to postpone the prapatti even for

adiyen's

daughter and requested HIM to go ahead with prapatti as originally planned.

 

Srimad azhagiya singer then went on to perform prapatti in ukti nishta for

us and

in the sankalpam adiyen's little daughter was included as adiyen's chetana.

 

On that day it was well past 12 O' clock and even my daughter did not eat

any thing

until then. once sankalpam was over HH ordered that adiyen's daughter should

be

given prasadam immediately (kuzhandhai pavam eththanai nazhi pattini

kidakkum)

Only after knowing that she has given prasadam HE proceeded further.

 

It was a memorable experience. adiyen is again and again remembering this

day

and trying to treasure it forever. adiyen is too small and his language

skills are

grossly inadequate to even glorify Srimad azhagiya singer, and HIS

sowlabyam.
