During the Iraa patthu and Pahal patthu

uthsavam at Sri VilliputthUr , there is

a special uthsavam to honor PeriyAzhwAr

in front of Sri Vatapathra sAyee.ARayar

takes on the role of PeriyAzhwAr and

intreprets the ThiruppallANDu paasurams .
