Guest guest
Srimadh Azhagiya singar thiruvadikaLE saraNam Sri ANDAL thiruvadikaLE saraNam vaiyatthu vAzhveergAL ! thirup pAvai - Vol.02.002 - " kiriyai " Dear bAgawathAs, In the previous pAsuram, Sri ANDAL showed us the saranAgathi mArgam and the goal ie, perumAL's paRai or aruL. This is also known as prabAgam. When Sri ANDAL had told about all the thatthuvam in the first pAsuram, it is believed that she is going to deliver further about who are these " nEr izhaiyeer " who will do this pAvai nOnbu of saranAgathi and what are the aspects of this " nOnbu " in detail ? " SaranAgathi nOnbu " has these five major angams. Of which some of them are discussed here in this pAsuram as a " kiriyai " . It is strongly believed that only in Sri sana dhAna dharma that the " Sariyai, kiriyai, nyAnam and yOgam are all explained. No other religion have even conceptualised these. " Sariyai " can be said as one who does " thoNdu " or service to Sriman nArAyaNA in as casual way or an ordinary way. Kiriyai can be said as anukka thOndu or a service that is done to Sriman nArAyaNA as a part of a yAgam or nOnbu that is ordained in shAstrAs. The word " kiriyai " is also told in colloquial term as " kirisai " . " Kiriyai " means a deed or a " seyal " or an act in general. " Kiriyai " generally is referred to the special leelai of Lord Sri Krishna directed at getting a good ending or result desired by HIM. " nyAnam " can be addressed in simple terms as attempting to see Lord Sriman nArAyaNA or SriKrishnA through agam & seek to understand Lord Sri Krishna through the " nyAnam " that Lord Sriman nArAyaNA alone can give us. This nyAnam itself is HIM or HE is in this form of " nyAnam " . In thiru vAy mozhi Sri nammAzwAr describes perumAL Sri Oppiliappan as " nyAnamAy .. " . When this " nyAnam " is wholly adopted to serve and propagate the thiru uLLam of Lord Sri Krishna this same nyAnam becomes " para nyAnam " . Sri nammAzwAr describes the same in Sri ArA amuthan's pAsruam that Sri Ara amuthan or Sri Krishna is the total use of all this " nyAnam " or knowledge or " aRivu " in thiru vAy mozhi as " aRivin payanE! " . Since these Aaycchiar are " aRivu onRum illAthavar " ie., they are not intellecually suprior or individually a sophisticated person.
